Dormio Hotel Resort Zoutelande is being built in Zoutelande, 10 minutes from the North Sea beach. The hotel resort is a new variation on the existing product range and offers attractive investment opportunities on the coast of Zeeland. The holiday homes will be built in natural surroundings and the main building will accommodate various high-end facilities. The Walcheren region, and Zoutelande in particular, has great tourist appeal, making it a popular holiday destination among young and old alike. This makes Dormio Hotel Resort Zoutelande the perfect base for a wonderful staycation!
Update from Biggekerke
There is a new plan for Dormio Hotel Resort Zoutelande! Following concerns from local residents about the size and height of the hotel resort, the 2021 building permit for Dormio Hotel Resort Zoutelande was unfortunately withdrawn by the municipality of Veere. The plan has since been refined and made more specific and we have handed it over to the municipality of Veere and submitted it to the village council. The new plan takes into account the concerns raised by local residents. For instance, Dormio has purchased an additional 3 hectares of land and the number of one- and two-bedroom units at the hotel resort has been reduced from 173 to 132 suites. In addition to a swimming pool, several other facilities for resort guests and residents of Biggekerke have also been outlined. The plan is currently going through the decision-making and consent stage with the municipality of Veere. Of course, we will keep you updated.

Dormio Hotel Resort Zoutelande will be built at a prime location in the municipality of Veere. This expansive municipality has many village centres, kilometres of beaches, forests, farmlands, nature reserves and has plenty of interesting places to visit. This means that everything is within walking or cycling distance when you stay at the hotel resort. In addition, places like Biggekerke, Westkapelle and Dishoek are just around the corner and you can easily visit historic Middelburg, the port city of Vlissingen, the popular seaside resort Domburg or the town of Veere with its beautiful historic buildings. There are also several nature reserves in the area that are definitely worth exploring on foot or by bike. This makes the peninsula of Walcheren in Zeeland a very popular holiday destination.
